  • Advised and represented a state-owned company which specialises in liability management to finance and implement bulk raw water¬†infrastructure in a dispute with its consultant arising out of a FIDIC White Book
  • Advised a preferred bidder for the design, construction and installation of emergency generators for two pump sets at a booster station. The client, as the EPC Contractor, appointed numerous subcontractors. Further, drafted and negotiated the EPC turnkey back-to-back subcontracts.
  • Acted for a leading state-owned supplier of raw bulk water in a dispute against an engineering company that provides design, consulting, and construction management services. The project comprised Phase 2 of the Mooi-Mgeni Transfer Scheme.
  • Advised a leading state-owned supplier of raw bulk water on two construction disputes, one relating to the evaluation of time-related charges pertaining to instructions and variations by the engineer and the other relating to a delay and cost of repairs of damage resulting from a force majeure claim.
  • Drafted the EPC, back- to- back subcontracts and EPCM consultancy agreements for a main purification works and secondary booster pumping stations.
  • Advised a leading state-owned supplier of raw bulk water on two construction disputes, one relating to the evaluation of time-related charges pertaining to instructions and variations by the engineer and the other relating to a delay and cost of repairs of damage resulting from a force majeure claim.
  • Acted for a state owned water utility company in instituting an unjustified enrichment claim against one of its suppliers.
